Patients may choose to work with Feldman, Choe & Slevin exclusively for all of their needs, or a patient’s general dentist can coordinate care with the doctors to build a comprehensive treatment plan.
Dr. Feldman practices periodontics and prosthodontics, with an emphasis on implants and full prosthetic reconstruction. He is the clinical director of the Periodontal Prosthesis and Implant Fellowship Program at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Feldman also serves as an associate clinical professor for the Department of Periodontics where he directs the Post Graduate Literature Review Seminar for Implantology and Treatment Planning. He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Feldman is well known for his many articles and lectures nationally and internationally, and has been a board examiner for the American Board of Periodontology from 2006 to the present.
Dr. Feldman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in 1962. He earned his doctor of dental surgery degree in 1965 from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and then served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967. He earned certification in prosthodontics in 1976 and certification in periodontics in 1978, both from University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He also received a Masters degree in Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins University in 1993.
An active participant in the professional organizations of periodontists and prosthodontists, Dr. Feldman is a member of the American College of Implantology, Maryland State Dental Society, Baltimore County Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontics, Fellow of American College of Dentists and Fellow of Pierre Frauchard Academy. He was president of the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Alumni Association from 1998 to 2000. Dr. Feldman currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland, while practicing in Towson, Maryland, at Feldman, Choe & Slevin, D.D.S., P.A.
Dr. Choe practices periodontics and implant periodontal prosthetics, with an emphasis on single tooth implants and full periodontal implant prosthetic reconstructions. He also serves as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Choe publishes articles and gives lectures related to his expertise in CAT scans, implants, and CAD-CAM dentistry.
In 1998, Dr. Choe earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in biology and minor in economics from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2002 and completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in 2003 at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. In 2004 he was chief resident and received hospital-based training at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Hospital in General Practice Residency. He completed his periodontics residency in 2007 at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and his Implant Periodontal Prosthetics Fellowship in 2009. Dr. Choe became a Diplomate in periodontics in 2008, where he was board certified by the American Board of Periodontology. Additionally he also received a Master of Science degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore, Graduate School in 2007.
Dr. Choe received an award for "Immediately Loaded Implant Solutions," during the Nobel Biocare World Tour in 2006. He also was a Volpe Prize Finalist in 2009 for "Impact of Sinus Pathosis on Implant Survival in the Augmented Sinus" and also presented this research at the International Association for Dental Research. Dr. Choe is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Maryland State Dental Association and the Baltimore County Dental Association. He currently resides in Mount Washington, Maryland, while practicing at Feldman, Fitzgerald, & Choe, D.D.S., P.A. in Towson, Maryland
Dr. Slevin practices periodontics and periodontal prosthesis with an emphasis on regenerative periodontal and implant procedures, as well as cosmetic dental procedures.
Dr. Slevin received his undergraduate training at West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 2009. He then continued his education with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014, also at West Virginia University. He earned his certificate in Periodontics as well as a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He also graduated from the Implant and Periodontal Prosthesis Fellowship at the University of Maryland where he honed his skills in dental implant prosthetics, In 2018 Dr. Slevin earned his Diplomate status from the American Board of Periodontology where he was board certified.
Dr. Slevin is dean’s faculty at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and an avid member of Gerald M. Bowers Periodontal and Implant Study Club in Baltimore. He is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association. Dr. Slevin currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, who is a pediatric dentist, while practicing at Feldman, Choe & Slevin, D.D.S., P.A. in Towson, Maryland.
Dr. Hurwitz practices periodontics and implant periodontal prosthetics, with an emphasis on implant procedures and esthetic periodontal surgery.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2011 from the University of Maryland, College Park Honors Program, Dr. Hurwitz received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2015, graduating Magna Cum Laude. From 2015 to 2016 she completed an Oral Surgery Internship at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received hospital-based training at Ronald Reagan Medical Center and focused on impacted wisdom teeth and sedation.
Following her internship, she continued her specialty training, earning a certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences, both from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Hurwitz is currently enrolled in the Implant and Periodontal Prosthesis Fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she focuses on dental implant prosthetics.
Dr. Hurwitz is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association. Dr. Hurwitz grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, where she currently resides with her husband, while practicing at Feldman, Choe & Slevin, D.D.S., P.A. in Towson, Maryland.
